Studio Shangri-La Fine Art Feature: Urban Wildflower Variations

Happy to present this fresh mini-series for June. The main featured flower here is the Purple Crown or Securigaria, a wild flower that prevents erosion. Here it’s mixed in with other grasses, as they do naturally, and photographed in an urban environment in which they can grow in their wild beauty. The most obvious clear shape is the heart in the series, then the spiral. Also apparent is use of both black and white space — several are in a space black color blocking layout to emphasize the juxtaposition of natural earth and city environment, and how they can coexist harmoniously, how we need and thrive the nurtured offerings of the earth. These are available in various formats both direct and via the different outlets and agencies listed on the Portfolio and Shop pages. Glass is recommended.

Life is inherently creative.
