Art news update! A modified segment of “Visions Of Biosynergy” from 2024 will be part of the exhibition “Consciousness Venice” during the 61st Biennale Arte 2026. It will show from June 19 – July 03 at the Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello in the Cannaregio district. Thanks to ITSLIQUID, this animation of 20 of my artworks on a theme of harmonizing nature and technology, will be part of this “global international contemporary art exhibition … with participants from 99 countries.” It’s exciting to say the least for ‘Visions’ to exhibit internationally.
The entire piece is 40 minutes long and was commissioned for LED pylons for Greystar Life Sciences. The portion showing at Consciousness Venice during Biennale is a modified, somewhat speedier part I. The slideshow above contains three different stills of the motion / animation based on the three artworks: “Quatrefoil,” “Sun Cross” and ”Crystal Mind.” The 20 artworks included are definitely representative of my botanical geometric style in conceptual photography. It’s wonderful to see “Visions Of Biosynergy” circulating the messages of sustainability with poetic taglines.
For fun and dedication to the occasion, I also included a new intro / outro card that is a ‘still life’ photo piece I made with ancient rocks and minerals, to resemble the Italian tri-color flag. It’s a combination of history, earth, inner child and futurism. Grazie Venezia! I’m thankful for the opportunity to be part of this grand event.
