All aboard artists! This month Studio Shangri-La is inviting artists in the Miami area to exhibit at no up front cost to them. There is, however a selection process. And donations are certainly appreciated for operational costs!
The gallery site is in North Miami, and has both an indoor and outdoor exhibit area. Located on a quiet side street, there is also parking and the surroundings are a slice of urban jungle, with lizards and parrots. It’s my goal to keep developing the area, and listing interesting events for people to enjoy.
For the gallery shows there is a flexible format; there can either be show and sales with one specific event, or ongoing exhibition for a dedicated time period, and/or concurrent online listings and promo.
Studio Shangri-La will take a modest commission on sales, and enjoys being a catalyst for artists to also profit financially from their work.
For events, there can be a small cover charge as well.
Let’s figure out what works best for you, and if you want to combine with other artists. It’s likely I’ll show my own work to kick things off, but I welcome the inquiries to start flowing.

In other news, it should be well noted since it’s that time of year, that Studio Shangri-La Multimedia & OCTAVES Music is a Recording Academy registered media organization as well, here for the admin, and also curation and production needs of musical artists, with a specialty in interfacing with the Recording Academy and Grammy awards system. However, there are other services available for musicians as well. As one myself, I’m also engaged in songwriting and composition.
