OCTAVES Music Label Update + Artist Services

Upcoming electroacoustic project on OCTAVES Music

It’s well worth noting that, while some conceptualization and some OCTAVES cover art benefits from AI, the composition and performance is still very much done by a human who loves making music. And the photo you see above is a more traditional one of light, reflecting on water. Given the previous posts about AI — I thought it would be good to point this out.

In fact, OCTAVES Music is looking for artists of multiple genres who want to have a platform to release their music to digital outlets, including those most popular like Apple Music and Spotify; also Beatport for electronic artists. For now, this basic hosting is at no extra cost to the artist, besides the time and effort they put into the music. The aim is to encourage music making and to grow the label as a project. From now through 12/31/2024, the artist will keep 100% of the profits they make, recognizing of course, that this is a small digital label.

Behind the scenes, the label will serve the artist with various admin activities associated with releases, pitching, promo, and even free mastering.

For more involved additional artist services, there will be a negotiable fee. Examples of this are branding, design, composition and recording/editing/production.

There is no one genre that is more desirable than another here, because the name OCTAVES is meant to encompass the spectrum of music. The quality and content will be considered.

Electric Echoes: The Digital Overture
